During the fall semester of 2024, classrooms in the Liberal Arts and Sciences Building A will be available on the following Saturdays.
・Oct. 5 (Sat), Oct. 12 (Sat), and Jan. 11 (Sat)

Please follow the rules below when using classrooms.

Turn off lights and air conditioning when the room is not in use.
Use air conditioning at appropriate temperatures (summer: 28°C, winter: 20°C)
※Reservations may be cancelled if the ILAS finds any malicious behavior
such as changing the temperature setting to an excessive level.

※If the reservation is made as requested, it will be reflected in the Reservation Status Confirmation Table within two business days.

Notes on Registration and Reservations
- Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you need to change the date of use, change the lecture room, or cancel your reservation,
please submit the reservation form again. - Reservation status will be updated on this web page at 10:00 a.m. on weekdays.
- A classroom can only be used by one group at a time per day.
(One group may use more than one lecture room at the same time.) - Make reservations after confirming the availability of each classroom via the Reservation Status Confirmation Table.
- In principle, classrooms are not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
However, only Building A can be used on Saturdays if there are no events.
※The available Saturdays will be posted in the "Notices" section. - Reservations may be cancelled due to unavoidable reasons such as classes or classroom inspections.
- Applications will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. two weeks prior to the date of use, and will be closed at 8:59 a.m. one week prior to the date of use.
(If you wish to use the room on Monday, reservations will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. on Monday two weeks prior to the day of use until 8:59 a.m. on Monday one week prior to the day of use. However, if two weeks before the date is a national holiday, the date shall be the day following the date, and if one week before the date is a national holiday, the date shall be the day before the date.)

Cautions for use
- Use classrooms without interfering with classes, research, or other extracurricular activities.
(For instrumental or choral practice, use only Building A.) - Do not damage buildings and equipment, etc., or remove any items without permission. In case of any damage, report to the ILAS Office immediately.
- In the event of any property damage, theft, or other such situations, we will interview the group using the classroom at the time. In some cases, the group may be asked for repayment.
- Classroom AV equipment (projectors, screens, etc.) can't be used for any purpose other than classes.
- No open frames are allowed. Smoking is not permitted on campus.
- After using a room, restore the room to its previous state, turn off the lights and close the windows.
- Follow any other instructions given by the University staff.
※If any falsehood is found in the user’s registration information, or any act or situation in violation of the above, the group will be banned from using classrooms for the time being.
<How to make a reservation>
User registration is required to obtain permission to use classrooms.
- Please fill out the required information on the User Registration Form to sign up.
- Within 5 business days, the ILAS Office will send a notification of completed registration with a user ID to the e-mail address of the person in charge of the group.
- Check the Reservation Status Confirmation Table to see which classrooms are available.
- Please make a reservation via the Reservation Application Form using the ID obtained at the user registration.
- If the reservation is made as requested, it will be reflected in the Reservation Status Confirmation Table within two business days.
※Reservation is not completed only by submitting the Reservation Application Form. - If you wish to cancel your reservation for any reason after it has confirmed,
you must cancel it via the Reservation Cancellation Form.
If you wish to reschedule a reservation, cancel the reservation using this form, and reapply via the Reservation Application Form. - On the day of use, please follow the rules and regulations for the use of the classroom.
(If unauthorized use or an unlocked status is found, the relevant group may face measures such as suspension of use.) - If the classroom is locked, contact the Guard's Room.
- After using a classroom, notify the Guard's Room in the Liberal Arts and Sciences Main Building that you have finished.
<How to change the person in charge>

When there are any changes in the registered person in charge, follow the procedures below to update the information.
- Fill out the Notification of Change in Person in Charge.

*Be sure to read the notes in the form
- After the change is confirmed by the office, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to both the current and new person in charge.
- After receiving the confirmation e-mail, make a classroom reservation with the information on the new person in charge.
